Remastered: A Visibly Smart production from Intel

Munchausen 2011 by Lung - ‘The Scream’ Remastered

Remastered is a unique exhibition that brings to life the inspiration behind Intel’s global marketing campaign Visual Life by fusing classic art with boundary-pushing technology. In collaboration with curatorial partner jotta, Intel tells the stories of some of the most famous pieces of art from history, including Van Gogh, Dali and Da Vinci, using technology to re-interpret their meaning for a contemporary audience. The exhibition unlocks the creative potential of technology and underlines how visual masterpieces can be created with simply a mouse as a brushstroke or a screen as a canvas.

The exhibition showcases some of the most promising emerging art and design talent from across the UK. From 3D animation to interactive installations, it features artwork from a broad range of disciplines – all only made possible through the use of technology. See the fascinating re-interpretations from Daniel Swan, Midnight Toastie and many others.
