20-23 September 2012
Old Truman Brewery London E1
This year Tent London will include two new show features; Tent Loves – a series of thought-provoking installations, each using different materials and Sussed: A collection of sustainable innovations – featuring the latest eco developments… not to mention the Café-Bar installation by Freshwest in the T1 hall.
Tent Loves is a series of three beautiful installations, commissioned by Tent London. The installations will be produced by designers and curators each working in different materials. The series will consist a collection of stunning hand-blown and copper wheel engraved pieces by Gillespie Glass in T2 hall; the unusual ‘skin collection’ of hand-stitched soft leather lamps and furniture by Studio Pepe Heykoop in the entrance hall T2; and a selection of Bute wool ‘Shelters’ curated by JJam and designed by Tortie Hoare, Shell Thomas, Studio Henny van Nistelrooy, We Do Studio and Elena Corchero in T4 hall.

Exploring sustainability in new ways is a hot topic for everyone and Sussed is an eco-feature which addresses this with a selection of diverse products and innovations. From quirky non-toxic, bio-degradable toys - Mulch Men - to a sleek high rise wormery, urban bee-hive and Re-materialise, an eco materials library, there is much to see and be inspired by. Sussed will be located in T5 hall.
